Rise of the Runelords (At The Toy Trove)

On the Last Episode of Rise of the Runelords

Goblins, damsels in distress, and ancient runes, oh my!

On the morning of Desna’s sacred Swallowtail Festival, a band of adventurers partook in many of the activities and fun around Sandpoint. At the cusp of the festival, a tribe of Goblins raided the town, with our adventurers taking centre stage to defend the town, earning the admiration of many townsfolk, with a brazen Aldern Foxglove asking for a hunt of boar.

After feeding The Rusty Dragon for a week with their hunted boar, the sheriff brought them to the discovery of tracks around the mausoleum of the past Father, and discovered that the tracks of a humanoid accompanying the numerous goblins, leading evidence that this previous raid was a plot for a much more dangerous force. Upon return to The Rusty Dragon, the band found that their barmaid was missing. She was to meet her brother at their family’s business at the glassworks, but hadn’t returned since then. Quick on the heels of investigation, the party stormed the glassworks with the help of Shalelu Andosana, taking out the occupying goblins with neat efficiency and bright explosions. When the party found Ameiko’s Brother Tsuto, they also found evidence leading to two major threats to Sandpoint: A cathedral to Lamashtu hidden in the catacombs below the glassworks, and a major force assembling at Thistletop. Taking the immediate threat first, the party traveled down further below the glassworks and confronted the demons within the Catacombs of Wrath, cleansing the cathedral of the evil within. The party has now moved to storming Thistletop, and has removed the head of the Thistletop goblin tribe Warchief Ripnugget, but the force behind the organized goblin forces remain to be dealt with, as well as the terrible force locked away below the goblin stronghold.
